THE PROCESS

“Being there for my clients at each stage of the process is really important to me. Whether they have a clear idea of what they want or no clue where to start, I guide them through the incredibly personal process of creating bespoke jewellery”

  • Step 1: Discovery

Before your first meeting – whether it’s face-to-face or online – Emma asks each client a series of questions so that she can discover more about the piece that you’re looking to create. After that, she’ll go away and source either diamonds or semi-precious gemstones which she will educate you on, helping you to establish the best stone to suit your budget. She’ll also take you through some initial concepts and mood boards before you settle on the desired design together.

  • Step 2: Design

After those initial conversations have happened and the design has been chosen, Emma will put together a hand-drawn technical sketch. This will come to you and you’ll work with Emma on any tweaks before it goes to the workshop in London’s famous diamond district, Hatton Garden.

  • Step 3: Creation

Your piece will then be handcrafted by a group of highly skilled jewellers who have decades of experience and have worked for some of the biggest names in jewellery. You will be able to view your piece at each step of production, either through photographic updates or visits to the workshop. Once your piece has been created, you’ll be supplied with an insurance and GIA diamond certificate.

  • Step 4: Maintenance

The final piece of the puzzle is looking after your ring. We provide a brilliant after-care service where we polish, clean, check and look after our bespoke pieces. It’s highly important to us that each piece is cared for properly so that it can shine with brilliance. From ideation to creation, the time it takes to build a piece can totally vary but once a stone has been chosen, our workshop tends to be able to turn it around in 4-6 weeks.
